DATA PROTECTION · GDPR

YOUR DATA.
CLEAR RULES.

This policy explains what personal data SLAP LEAGUE processes, why it is needed and how you can control it.
01

Data controller

The controller of personal data is SLAP LEAGUE. For access, correction or deletion requests, email slapleague.gdansk@gmail.com.

02

Data we store

Account and contact details, profile and tennis questionnaire data, photo, category, season applications, schedules, results, ratings, trophies, challenges and technical security records.

03

Why we use it

To operate accounts, organise seasons and matches, let opponents communicate, calculate standings and ratings, send important notices, prevent abuse and fulfil the organiser’s responsibilities.

04

Legal bases

Participation data is processed to provide the service and organise the competition. Publishing a photo and optional extended data relies on consent. Security and change logs rely on the league’s legitimate interest.

05

Who can see it

Your name, category, results, standing, STR and earned awards may be public. Contact details are visible only to authenticated opponents in your group and administrators. Hosting, database and email providers receive only the access needed to provide their services.

06

Retention and backups

Account data is kept while the account is active or as required for competition history and legal obligations. Daily internal snapshots of core league data are retained for up to 30 days. Season results may be anonymised rather than removed when an account is deleted.

07

Your rights

You may request access, correction, portability, restriction or deletion, object to processing and withdraw consent. You may also complain to the Polish data protection authority, UODO.

08

Account deletion

Submit a request from the Profile tab in your player area. We will verify it and contact you if necessary. Requests are normally handled within 30 days.

09

Security

Database rules restrict access to private data. Result changes and published group membership changes are logged, deleted matches can be restored from protected history, and core league data is saved in a daily internal snapshot.
